AN AWESOME FREE EVENT – WITH TOUCHABLE REPTILES – AT THE END OF THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS is just what every exhausted parent and bored kid needs to brighten up your Australia Day weekend!
St Albans is a beautiful daytrip and weekender destination in the northern Hawkesbury that attracts visitors from north & north west Sydney, the lower Blue Mountains, and the Central Coast. They come for the 4 minute car ferry ride on the Webbs Creek Ferry, a meandering and sealed country drive to St Albans alongside the Macdonald River, a fabulous kids park by the river, and of course our two licensed institutions – The Pickled Wombat Café and the iconic convict-built Settlers Arms Inn. Along with our regular local farm producers, you can check out the constantly changing lineup of visiting stallholders. 😊 There are also giant, old-fashioned kids game in the shade with dedicated seating, and your fur baby is always welcome – on a lead please. 🐶 Remember, the first 20 coffees (tea, chai latte, hot chocolate etc) are always free to visitors, from 10am. ☕ A gold coin donation per adult entry is requested – with proceeds going to a different local community group each month. |
