The Macdonald Valley is a close knit community that welcomes visitors each weekend, and then reverts to a quiet rural hamlet during the week. Spring is a special time here on the sealed road drive to St Albans – with gorgeous views on every turn of the road. St Albans is a beautiful day trip destination in the northern Hawkesbury that attracts visitors from North West Sydney, the lower Blue Mountains and the Central Coast.
Locals get to enjoy it all the time, but visitors are surprised and delighted by the short car ferry ride on the Webbs Creek Ferry, a meandering scenic drive alongside the Macdonald River, and of course – the iconic convict built Settlers Arms Inn, or the Pickled Wombat café – our 2 fully licenced local institutions. There are new stallholders every month, plus all of the local favourites.
Come and enjoy a first class cuppa, and settle in for an enjoyable day out in the Northern Hawkesbury.
And remember – the 1st 20 coffees are free to market visitors, from 10am
Gold Coin Donation per Adult Entry gives you a ticket in the daily lucky door prize of stallholder samples – winner contacted by phone after market close! |
